Actually, the past two months have been. I feel like I gave birth to Nora, hit the ground running, and haven't stopped since.
Things will slow down soon enough, though.
Last night we didn't get home from church until 11:30pm because we stayed and talked and Ruby ran around and played with other home-schooled kids that can sleep in the next day if necessary:)
So this morning? We slept till 9:45. NINE FORTY FIVE. Sweet Virginia.
We woke up, had scrambled "Cheesy" Scrambled Eggs with Spinach and homemade granola cereal with almond milk.
And then Ruby got out leftover rice noodles and begged for chopsticks...
(I said yes, if you were wondering. Why not?)
I burned some essential oils (lavender, lemon, and a drop or two of white camphor) and turned on the Avett Brothers station on Pandora and we've been having ourselves an amazing morning.
How can a banjo playing in the background not make you happy?
Anyway, here's some life lately:
"i so sited!" Ruby at Oktoberfest
nora...snoozin' in church
keeping each other warm on a cold October walk to the square
and just days earlier it was this hot on our walk. by the way nora, whatever you're doin girl, it's workin for ya. look at that bod.
ruby is just like me and gets downright annoyed at the sun in her eyes. we couldn't find her glasses so she needed mine :)
I need to end this post because Ruby just emptied the entire Elmer's glue bottle during craft time onto her paper and it's in a puddle dripping from the table to the chair to the floor.
Have a great day!
