Baby Fever

Oh gosh...I've got it. Bad. I think about it everyday.
I wonder if I am pregnant.
I wonder when it's time for us to get pregnant.
I wonder what life will be like with two little ones so close.
I wonder where we'd put the next one in our sweet little 2 bedroom 1 bath house.

Last night I stayed up late looking at this, to help my baby fever.

Do you think this helped my condition? Absolutely not!

I so look forward to being pregnant again. To eat more nutritiously, to exercise more. The second (and third, and fourth...) time around you just know more. I like that a lot. I also can't wait to birth another child of mine. Best thing on earth.

*sigh*....I will wait. I figure it'll go something like this:
1. Like with Ruby, we will both have a knowing that it's time to start trying.
2. I will be late, and take a pregnancy test, gasp, pause, probably tear up, and then squeal/scream with joy.

We shall see...

Of course those pictures didn't help!! Are you kidding??? I love that one of her in the pink hat. I can't relate to this post right now because I am so tired and my body is so worn down, but I know you are so excited about your next one!! And like you said, you guys will KNOW when the time is right. You won't start out your post, "I wonder..." You'll start out, "So guess what God told me and Kevin!!!"

Oh, and bottom line, it's amazing to hold your small, tiny baby!

Oh my gosh. I remember after T was born I just kept saying, "oh my gosh, they're too close together, I'm so going to wait next time". Aaaaaaaaaaaand he's seven months old and guess what I'm thinking?

We live in a culture that honors planning, financial stability, relying seriously on norms, and a whole host of other beliefs and ideas about fertility and pregnancy. I wish American women could throw out the birth control and pressures to get our bodies back and biological clocks and work schedules and ideas of the perfect sized family and lies about having enough time - and just let go.

Ruby, wanna have a brother to feed raw hamburger meat to?

ps: the sleeping in the car seat one gets to me.

(and two kids can share a room, promise) (remember when you, me, Mom, and Caitlyn shared a room?)

I love what the "anonymous" person said. LOVE.

My two are going to be a little over 19 months apart. Yes. I did freak out a tiny bit when I had that feeling that I was pregnant. But, I cried with joy when I got that positive pregnancy test. They will be best of friends, I am sure of this.

I can't wait for you to experience it again too! I know you'll soak it in, just like you did with Ruby.
