Thankful Thursday

Today I am thankful for our amazing local library. I think it's so important to have something like this in every community, and every time I walk into this place I am thankful for it's resources, it's stature, and that it's free.

She talked the entire time she played with this. I love kids' imaginations.

Our Baby Bookworm club. Meets every Thursday morning. Ruby loves it. She bounces on my lap and squeals and looks at the other babies like "wanna play?"

Ruby in all her glory.
On the floor with people her age and size. Plus bubbles.
She is such a people person, it cracks us up.
She may be a little bit like me.

How wonderful! I wish I had the time to take advantage of our local library! This looks like a lot of fun! Little Ruby is SO cute! Her and Easton seem a lot alike to me- FULL of personality! He's like me too! ;)

Ruby Gehl you're getting so big! The next time we're in Bentonville we'll have to go to the library together. Naftalie will find books and sit in a corner reading them alone, and Ruby will walk around making friends - both of them totally enjoying themselves. The BPL looks like they have a great space for kids.

How did the veggie pancakes turn out?

Meghan and I LOVE the library! Now that she is really into picking out her own books I have 30+ books at home to keep track of. It's great to see you getting her to the library so young. Teaching special ed I get so frustrated seeing 8th graders that can't read past third grade level and yet their parents don't get them to read at home...so keep it up! I noticed you are not quite the germ-a-phobe you were when Ruby was first born. :) She is getting so big so quickly and looking more like you everday!

One more thing...that bubble thing the lady has is the best bubble maker. We did Kindermusic classes when Meghan was little and her instructor had the same bubble thing. They sell it at Gymboree and the Gymboree bubbles are great too...they last so long.

SO cute! I would love a library like thta close to me. Ours is pretty lame and it's more of a children's library so it doesn't really help me!
