Real Food

Yes, it's been awhile since I've posted. For a very good reason, too, I might add. One that I may write about here, one that I may not. Who knows. But just a heads up, I probably won't be posting as much as I used to.
Long story short: I've decided to spend more time with my Ruby and my family than post about how much time I spend with them. Which, obviously, takes away from my time with them while I sit on here telling you all about it!

But during her naps, and when EVERYTHING else is done and taken care of...I think it's fine to get on here and update every now and then.

So on that note:
Our little BABY is eating big girl foods!
Avacados, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, Mum Mums (not that big of a hit...), and even...a biscuit.

She is loving the textures and the responsibility of putting it in her own mouth like a big girl.
Loving every stage of her little life.

Dear Jessica, You are an awesome mom! Your priorities are right, and I will relish the updates that you give us. I check all the time because you are wonderful and Ruby is adorable, and you are inspiring as a young mom who just gets it! All of it!

I understand about blogging taking away from family time...definitely is a balancing act.
Um, Ruby is getting SO big!! Can you believe our little girls are almost 7 months?!?! Makes me sad...but so excited to see them grow! Starting real food is the best! I LOVE how my babies responded to it...their facial expressions, and so on!!!

Oh, and how could I NOT comment on Ruby's STUNNING blue eyes?!?!?

I'm glad someone else besides me gets the "would rather actually spend time with people than talk about it on the internet." Deleting facebook was a huge gain back in my time, and I haven't been updating the blog as much either. I would much rather have the real time with people. Ruby is getting so big!! Good job on eating big girl food, Ruby James!!

Good for you for keeping your priorities straight. It's so true...we spend more time talking about all our families than being with them! Silly.

And hello, Blue Eyes! Love her!
