Praise The Lord...I Saw The Light!

For months now, I have been looking for an organic soap. Your skin is your largest organ, soaking in everything you put on it.
(Have you looked at the ingredients in your soaps, shaving creams, lotions, etc?!)
Anyways...I FOUND IT! Literally the best soap I've ever used. When I shaved with this stuff, my legs were smoother than they've ever been. For any of you that know me, you know how much I despise shaving my legs. It burns, hurts, never looks good, and my legs still feel prickly at the end.
NOT WITH THIS MAGIC POTION of natural oils. It's amazing!
Dr. Bronner's Magic Shikakai Soap...get some today!

*For those of you living in NW Arkansas, Ozark Herb and Spice in Bentonville sells it, a huge bottle that will last you forever, for $14.99*

I will have to try this. I am also a hater of shaving my legs. I have ultra sensitive skin on my legs and shaving just hurts! I have yet to find anything make my legs feel silky smooth.

it smells, in my opinion, amazing. It smells a lot like tea tree oil, a key ingredient.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I looooove Ozark Herb and Spice! Is this soap safe to use on a baby or do you use other organic products on Ruby? I'm so interested in what all you use for her that is organic!

ya know...I never even thought about using this on her. I'm sure it's fine. Right now I use a shampoo/soap on her called "California Baby Lavender and Tea Tree Oil" it's tear free and all-natural. Not organic, but natural.

We get a different kind of Bronner's, and we use it for everything from body wash to cleaning the bathroom and mopping the floor. The stuff is incredible, and not expensive. Also, I LOVE the refreshing smell of tea tree oil.

Thanks for the tip. I have extremely sensitive skin and have had a hard time finding a soap product that I can use. I don't live in Bentonville anymore, can I order it online?????

I want some of this! I have sensitive skin as well and I hate shaving my legs all the time. It's like torture some days. Great post!

@ James and Elizabeth - castile soap (which is what Dr. Bronner's is) is safe for babies, there is an unscented version that is best for babies (although it's not organic). And you can get Dr. Bronner's online and at most local co-ops and health food stores. I have a recipe to make laundry detergent with the hard soap shredded down with borax and washing soda - excited to use it and see how it works on diapers. When you're bored online one day look up Dr. Bronner, he had a fascinating life and had crazy philosophies/beliefs.
