Jessica's Dream Day

Yesterday morning Kevin had off of work due to the Fourth (hallelujah!)
So we got to sleep in till around 9, and apparently he and Ruby woke up before me and I just didn't notice them getting out of bed (Thank you, Tempur-Pedic)
So I'm half asleep when I hear Eye Of The Tiger blaring from the living room, and feel Kevin ripping the blanket off of me and yelling
"Jessica Kiehn, this is your dream day!"
He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of bed to organic eggs and toast for breakfast, and showed me the itinerary for the day that he had created.
Once I got past the utter shock and terror that I thought some sort of game show crew, audience, and friends of ours would be gathered in our living room by the way he presented it...I couldn't stop smiling and thanking him for taking his day off to bless me, and do all the things my little heart desires.

What's a dream day without playing with this girl?
(Thank you, Aunt Shannon, for the mirror on the baseboard idea!)

After we went running as a family, yes running, we came home to an awesome, healthy dinner (per the itinerary) that Ruby helped make. Thank you, you amazing Heavenly Father for blessing me with this life and this family. Some may call it so simple, and it is, and I love that.

I adore this!!! And look at Ruby's face! Just LOVING life and exploring and learning and inhaling the glory of it all! You and Kevin are so awesome together. I just love, love the sweetness of the day he created for you, Jessica. Blessings, blessings pouring out over you 3, and that blessing just spills out of you to those around. Love you!!!

THIS IS AWESOME!!! Can you hear me chanting his name...Kev-in! Kev-in! Kev-in! What a husband!

I LOVE that pic of Ruby looking at herself in the mirror. It's like she knows she stinking cute she is! And man, is she ever cute.

Okay first off, I about peed my pants with the Eye of the Tiger. Secondly, could my version of a Dream Day and your version be any different? Mine would looks more like this: McDonald's breakfast, skip cleaning, lay on couch, no exercise. I love the person you are!
