C25K


(Well, yuck, sorry this picture is blurry.)
But have you seen this app? It's amazing. I am not a runner, people. Well...I'm not naturally. The very thought of running intimidates the crap out of me. I would get nervous just putting my tennis shoes on, seriously. But this app is PERFECT for beginners! It takes you in obtainable steps, from Couch To 5K (C25K) and again...

Get out there and get your heart rate up! Bless yo' body!
It's great because it just comes naturally, that when you excercise, you eat better. Who wants a burger and fries after you've just accomplished a physical goal for yourself that you didn't think was possible?

That is amazing! I get the nervous shoe butterflies too. I wish I could run like some people. I would love to go cycling and become a natural at that. Have you seen people who are cyclists?! Seriously, I want THOSE legs. haha Can you use this program even if you don't have an iphone or the like?

I LOVE that app! Hey maybe after you have reached your 5K goal you can run a race. I'd do it with you! I am working really hard toward a half marathon...more like couch to half marathon...haha! But I totally agree with you in that when you work out you WANT to eat better! Yay for being good stewards of our bodies!

I felt like I was the most awesome person in the universe after my (first and only) 5K race. Which one will you be running in? When you get that number pinned on the front of your shirt it's basically a big "S" for superwoman.
