Blowout

My mothering abilities were tested yesterday morning when I reached over for Ruby with my eyes closed, both of us half asleep, and I felt something slimy on her little back. Her first blowout- agh! Kevin was of course at work so I had to tackle this single-handedly. It's hard to rinse a chubby, wet baby in the tub that can't sit up on her own yet! She was slipping and sliding all over. But we did it.
She's even cute with crap up her back.

First of all, I am laughing hysterically that you posted a pic of your daughter with poop all up her back!!! And amazed that she is 4 months old and this is her first blowout. You lucky duck!!! Keep on keeping your mom on her toes Ruby girl!

Devin used to save it up for days and do this every Sunday morning on the way to church. I literally dipped him in the sink in the nursery and changed his clothes every Sunday until he ate solid food at 10 months! This picture of innocent little Ruby made me laugh. She's feeling GOOD!

I'm just amazed that this was your first blowout! We have one almost every day at our house. :)

Look at her face!! TOO cute!! She looks like she's just woke up from a deep sleep and wondering why in the world you're taking a picture in such an "unflattering circumstance"! Oh, Ruby girl! I remember those blow outs. Just best to dunk them in the sink or tub:). It won't be her last, momma! Just wait!!!!!

okay, you asked me a while back about caffeine...i didn't drink much caffeine when i was pregnant and a while after elle was born, i think until she was like 2 to 3 months. she didn't sleep then and now that i drink caffeine she still doesn't sleep so i'm thinking it has no effect on her! i wish i could operate without it but i'm honestly a walking zombie if i don't have my caffeine.
