I am patiently (to be very honest, not so patiently, but trying) awaiting the arrival of our little one. I seem to have all the needed things to qualify for labor, yet I am not in it yet.

And that is fine.

Because she'll be here when she's supposed to be.
Kevin and I will be ready for when she's here.
And in the meantime I will make the best out of everything possible.

So I end this with a forced sarcastic smile on my face, but deep down...I know we're almost there, and it will all happen right when it's supposed to. No worries:)

Girl, I feel ya! May I ask what are all the "needed things to qualify for labor"?
The patience thing on my part at the end of pregnancy is almost nonexistent! It has helped this time with me not having things ready, so now I don't want her to come until they are done....(even though I really do want her to come.) Oh the vicious cycle! haha!

Haha yeah! I mean, I'm dilated, effaced, lost my mucus plug, and she is super low. That's what I'm talking about!

Have you been to the doctor this week yet? Any more dilation and effacement? WHEN did you loose your mucus plug?
With Ethan I never lost my mucus plug that I knew of before labor...I just woke up one night to my water breaking...freaky experience! With Titus I lost my mucus plus a couple of days before I had him!!!

So things shall come...and probably soon!

i know, i know. i lost it last night. I know she's around the corner. the doctor told us she's probably coming sooner than we thought. turns out ultrasounds aren't always right!

Actually if I am TOTALLY honest with you, I am jealous! I want to be showing the signs that you are right now...but I think my ultrasound is correct. :( though I haven't been checked at my midwife's yet. (by the way, I am using a midwife at the hospital...because of insurance. ugh! BUT I can labor in the shower or tub...so that's nice!)
What's your birthing plan?

jessica kiehn said...

don't have one. the only thing CLOSE to one is go as long as i can without anything, then if i want meds or an epidural, i'll do it. Just go with the flow, because birth is so unpredictable.

Oh Jessica, I am so excited for you. I know you are going to have a beautiful labor, because you trust Jesus to take care of you and little Ruby!

The end is near, but so is the beginning! Oh, Ruby, we wait for Yahweh's perfect time. Love, Grammy

Don't have that baby until I get back! I can't miss it. I'm supposed to sit in the waiting room with your family, telling Jessica stories, and eating McDonald's.

excuse me? when do you get back?! sorry toots....you may just have to be present for baby Kiehn #2!
